Almost weekend again
Latest developments:
On special request of my brother Thomas i added a number of recent photos to http://www.flickr.com/ so go there and have a look if this blog does not give you enough visual input on our whereabouts in Kenya.
I recieved a dozen different seeds of eatable plants of my landlord. So yesterday I planted the ones that I use to precultivate (tomatoes, squash, union and leek) besides the 'kouseband' that I already was growing in the window seal. The shambaboy Rogers has cleaned a few square meters of garden, so we can plant some carrots and so in the weekend.
Just before we went to the coast the empty desk at my office became occupied by Katja, a post doc from Germany with fruit trees as working topic.
Merijn was invited to the first birthday party of a school mate Tom who turned 6, where he had a great time, although the swimming activity was canceled.
Merijn is very fond of ALF DVD, we are half way the first season.
The shower is fixed, so now we have hot water again without risking to be electrocuted.
My car is on its way to Mombasa in a ship called GrandMark, which is due to port 1th November. Now it is twininning tombs for the paperwork to go smooth.
