Last Sunday we visited the snake park. They are situated left of the Nairobi Museum. It is not very big but there are very many snakes and other reptiles, even some fish. All are indigenous to this country. Nice to see a tilapia not crusted and deep-fried once. It is amassing how long some snakes are, and their colours are stunning. One was standing upright against a vertical stone wall using less than a third of its body for support. Others were up in the bushes and barely visible others were sunbathing on a stone. There were lazy lizards and tortoises running around in maximum turtle speed. Some crocodiles were also lying lazy besides their little ponds with their mouth open. Merijn enjoyed this place very much.
