Another viewing and wheels

This morning the sun was shining while we walked to work, that hasn't happened before. Usually it is chilly and damp in the morning. This sometimes lasts all through the day. Most often the sun breaks through around midday, which makes it warm in an instant, and drains the colour of everything green, caused by the angel and the intensity of the light I presume. The walk home is often a warm activity, to try to get 'home' before Merijn.
My supervisor Ramni gave me a telephone number of an acquaintance who has a guest wing of their house to let. It was not a bad place, but it reminded me much of living in Odvars house. That was a very good solution at that time, but it does not appeal much to me to return to at this moment. I hope Joyce will give me a good reason to turn her down tomorrow.
On the other side I OKed the import of a car today. Here it is common procedure to buy used cars from Japan, this implicates that our choice depends on the Japanese. I do not pretend to know much about much about cars, but this one has a very good reputation. RAV4 5doors 2005 (2nd generation AC31W) for $19250 plus €700 for transport to Nairobi. After the payment it will take 8 weeks to get here. That if the ports of Mombasa keep working and not go on strike again :o) Anyway wheels are coming now.
